Data Deletion Policy

At Online File Opener, we believe you should have complete control over your data. This page explains how your files are managed and how you can permanently delete your data.

1. Guest Users (No Account)

If you use our tool without registering an account:

  • Files uploaded for viewing are automatically deleted from our servers shortly after processing.
  • We do not store any personal data linking you to the files.
  • You do not need to take any action; your files are already gone.

2. Registered Users

If you have registered an account with us, your files are kept securely in your account until you delete them. You have full control:

Deleting Specific Files

You can delete individual files you have uploaded at any time:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Navigate to your User Dashboard.
  3. Click on the My Files tab.
  4. Click the Trash (Delete) icon next to the file you wish to remove. The file will be instantly and permanently deleted from our servers.

Deleting Your Entire Account

If you wish to completely remove your account and all associated data (including all uploaded files, email, and password hashes):

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Navigate to your User Dashboard.
  3. Click on the Settings tab.
  4. Scroll down to the Danger Zone.
  5. Click the Delete Account button and confirm.
Warning: Deleting your account is a permanent action. All your uploaded files and personal data will be immediately erased and cannot be recovered.
